UPDATED CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MISSION ROAD FOR LADWP UNDERGROUND UTILITY RELOCATION
As part of the City of Los Angeles' Bureau of Engineering's Sixth Street Viaduct Project, a full closure of Mission Road, for up to five months, will be required to complete LADWP underground utility relocation.
WHAT: Extended Full Closure of Mission Road for Underground Utility Relocation
WHEN: On-going through Friday, April 30, 2019
24-Hour Work Shifts
* Some Sunday and night work may be required
WHERE: Mission Road between Jesse Street and Willow Street (See below for map)
Southbound Mission Road will be detoured at 4th Street frontage road to southbound Anderson Street
Northbound Mission Road will be detoured at Jesse Street to northbound Anderson Street
Local access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times
Construction activities will include the relocation of underground power lines by LADWP
Heavy equipment will be used
Directional signage will be used to safely direct vehicles and pedestrians around the construction zone.
Please obey all posted construction signs and do not enter the construction work zone.
