The Sixth Street Viaduct gives thanks to the community!
On behalf of all of us at the Bureau of Engineering, we hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! It’s a great time for us to step back and thank all of those who have made this project as successful as it is. From our construction teams to city officials and engineers, to our photographers, architects and public relations teams, you all have had a hand in making this project possible from its construction to its grand opening. We would also like to give a special thank you to the Los Angeles community for being safe, responsible and respectful of our new landmark.
We would also like to bring attention to a recent poll that took place for Civil+Structural Engineer Media’s Yearbook of Engineering Achievement (YEA) Award, which the Sixth Street Viaduct entered along with dozens of other construction projects around the nation.
Thank you to all of those who voted for us, we look forward to finding out the results on December 1st. Happy holidays!
